Ages ago, Firefly flew across the Rainbow, to find help in dealing with Tirek. She came back with a human, Megan Williams. The Diplomat to Ponykind, wielder of the Rainbow of Light.
That was not the only help the wild magic of the land brought forward.
A human appeared near a magical fountain, near a mare that carried two fillies inside her. Armed with a sword that could slay anything and unending life thanks to said fountain, this second human came back with the mare to Dream Valley, and earned a reputation as The Sword, for he defended Ponykind against the darkness when the Diplomat could not soothe things over.
That was two ages ago. Time moved on. The Windigoes came. The Unification happened. Discord happened. The Crystal Empire happened. And the human remained by his foster daughter's side through all of this.
Until Nightmare Moon happened, and he nearly raised his sword against his daughter.
So he left, to seek solace, to seek guidance from the world itself from what he'd nearly done. But when the mark on the moon vanished, the human took note of that...and the day that happened afterwards.
Now...he's come home.

After his former gang raids his home and attempts to end his and his sister’s life, he emerges victorious and finally looks towards a peaceful future. Fate having it, he instead lands in Equestria. Even with his little knowledge with about his gift, he will stride forward. He will make friends and relationships, some more intimate than others, as he trudges through this slowly sundering world. Harry Potter never wanted a pony, let alone dozens of them. Sometimes, life gives us what we need instead of what we want.
Harry Potter was no stranger to problems, although his always seemed to be far larger than other young wizards his age. After all, Voldemort had tried to kill him as a baby, and twice during his first two years at Hogwarts. Hopefully, his third year in school would be easier, although he first needed to survive his summer with his aunt and uncle.
Between a hectic schedule of daytime chores and nights spent trying frantically to keep up on an ever-increasing pile of holiday work, he was working himself into a frazzle, and that was before finding out that his Aunt Marge was coming to visit. Thorax has had months. Months, of working tirelessly as the Ruler of the Changeling Hive and he is absolutely exhausted. He can barely stay awake when he comes to visit Ocellus at the School of Friendship to see how she's doing.
Ocellus, being the smart cookie that she is, comes up with a plan: She can pretend to be him, and he can go relax for a day.
Desperate, he accepts, but on the condition that he goes to class disguised as her and takes notes so she doesn't fall behind. After that, he can sneak off and finally get to sleep.
Anon is trying to move on with his life after what happened in Ponyville but it's hard to ignore what's right in front of him.
Things are a lot better for Anon since the events of Ponyville. His store is doing great and he enjoys the company of all his friends. As the days go on, he finds that the problems of the past are quick to haunt him as he is forced to face the one thing that hurt him the most.
