A doctor wakes up in Equestria and tries his best to tend to his patients and his everyday life.
Some in Equestria consider humans as destructive and foul creatures that only wish for war and to benefit themselves. However, others think that they were very kind and compassionate creatures that would go out of their way to help someone in need. Given humanity's past in Equestria, both opinions are right.
This is a story about a man of medicine who believes that everyone deserves another chance at life, even the most wicked of people. However, when he is thrown into Equestria, he encounters both those who wish for other's safety, and those who's greed overpowers the needs of others. The man's morals and willpower will be tested by those who don't care for life.
This is heavily inspired by the trauma center series. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Jackson is going on a simple hunt. It would be much easier without interruptions. Like a certain pony princess coming in for a visit.
Being innocent and still convicted of murder was a hell of a fate. After ten years of living a lawless life, Jackson had finally secured his own little home. Even if he had to hunt for meals, and fight monsters just to survive. It was home now. Far enough away that his rampant killing to survive couldn't hurt others. Far enough away that no one would find him. Until Princess Sparkle showed up.
Now he's been shaken, his old life rearing its head to give him the option to return home. There's nothing in the world he'd rather do, but he can't. Broken like a child's toy, he doesn't even remember how to talk to other people without resorting to violence. So he stays on his island, living a life safe and alone.
First Lieutenant Jake Carson is aboard the Starstreaker, the most intelligently designed space craft ever conceived by humanity. During his time on board they are ambushed by a Verix fleet and forced to take drastic measures
It's the year 2853 and the human race is more threatened than ever. The cybernetic species known as the "Verix" had been eliminating any and all life they could find. The war began many years ago, when human kind had been branching itself out to new planets, in hope to control it's growing population. After the discovery of the hostile lifeforms, planets have been under constant war. Human kind is slowly losing the fight, and realized they needed to think of a new strategy, or they'll be eradicated. And so began the age of genetic modifications.
Second Lieutenant Jake Carson, a man fighting in the war for humanities survival, returns from his latest mission. Upon returning he is granted the promotion of First Lieutenant, and is scheduled to begin genetic modifications the next day. Then all hell breaks loose.

Arc One: Contact- Jake finds himself stranded on a planet he's never seen before with other intelligent life. He's on a strict schedule and must make it back to home base before his enemy does, to prepare for the massive battle ahead. Chapters 1-18
Arc Two: Crossfire- The battle is on as Jake (And a certain friend) say their goodbyes for now and make it back to Earth. All of humanity, and more, is at risk of collapse. Not only that, but Jake discovers a small spark in a certain pony... Chapters 19-32
Arc Three: Momentum- With the immediate threat taken care of, Jake and his allies attempt to fortify atop their newfound ally planet. However, before any real progress can be made they are hit with a surprise attack, pushing Luna to make a dire decision. Chapters 33-43
Arc Four: Visions- Jake recovers from his near-death experience with a newfound perspective on the past. While attempting to supress his memories, he was also suppressing his feelings of attachment. Now breaking through these barriers, he will begin to care more for those around him. Chapters 44-54
Arc Five: Relations- Being on temporary leave, Jake uses this chance to get closer to someone he has begun having feelings towards. Hoping to have it flourish into something more. Meanwhile the Verix lurks in the background, learning what they can about this new species. Chapters 55-??
[The the first 12 or so chapters are mostly the events leading up to where Jake is now, and are in 3rd person. The story switches to 1st person after that]

This is my LATEST story I have created. I am working on this in hopes that I can finally make the kind of story I always wanted to. This story will be VERY long, so be ready to grab some popcorn and stay a while if you are late to the party!

I accidentally crashed into the local princesses room after breaking the sound barrier, (Not sure how), after being chased across the country by the local military. One of them I kicked on the way out. I think her name was... Spitfire. Oh, well... No, wait. She's in charge of my prison! Nooooooo!

A machine built for exploring new worlds and preparing them for possible coloization. A land of magic and friendship that has not seen the blight of war in over a thousand years. This is what happens when the two come crashing together.
.........Um, hello, my name is Doctor Daniel Phillips, and I am the lead scientist overseeing the Gateway Project, one of the most cutting-edge technologies in existence today. With it, we can open wormholes to worlds far beyond the reach of conventional space travel, and even into other dimensions if we can work out the right frequency. As of late we have discovered over a dozen habitable worlds that have been slated for colonization, but as of yet no signs of intelligent life. Yet I hold out hope that one day we might find such a world, however remote, and put our best foot forward in opening relations with our new galactic neighbors. Yet not all of the planets we find are poppies and roses, so instead of sending in humans to explore them, we have these little babies.
Oh, right, you can't see me because this is an audio-only feed. My mistake. Well, I guess I'll just have to explain it to you. These cybernetic wolves, known in our group as the Mech Hounds, are outfitted with the most advanced computers in the world, along with some of the most cutting-edge robotics and weapons money can buy. Now right at the moment we only have a dozen of these little critters, but don't let that fool you. Each of these little babies carries enough firepower to level a small town, although it would take them a couple days to do so if they were working alone. They also have the programing to work out almost any situation in a matter of seconds, although they still have many of the logic problems that most computers face when confronted with something that does not fit within the established parameters of their programming. Yet, regardless of their possible shortcomings, they do the heavy lifting upon initial exploration where humans cannot, dealing with threats as they see fit in order to assess the habitability of a planet for human use. I could tell you more, but that would be breaking protocol.
So, without further ado, I'll turn you over to our logistics specialist, who will be happy to tell you all about how these little babies are going to change the world, or rather, worlds, that humanity has come to call home.................

This is a story that delves into the boundary between life and machine, where AI is something that has only been dreamed of, even with the most advanced computers available. Then again, these machines have never encountered magic before, so who knows what might happen. I guess you'll just have to read the book to find out for yourself.

With M watching his every move, he is forced to play by his games. Betrayal, suspicions, and enemies will rise. Shadow must choose which side is truly righteous and which is evil.
This is a story about a human who is hailed as the Monkey King by the Zebras and has somehow, SOMEHOW accomplished in recreating the Persian Empire, with nothing but his wits, unpredicatlbe antics and stupid luck.

Well this is something. Greetings fellow peoples or whoever else finds and reads this story. Let me introduce myself, I am simply know as THE MONKEY KING. The king of what you may ask? Well, the king of the Zebras to be precise, or even better, the King of the Achaemidien EMPIRE.
How you may ask? Well to be honest, I have no bloody idea myself. One moment I was simply making myself some coffee just like every morning, and then the next thing I know I get zapped away from my home, reappear out of nowhere in the middle of Desert with both my Coffee and pajamas still on me, followed up by some weird Voodoo prophecy made by the Zebra Shamans about the arrival of an ancient Monkey King who is going to re-unite all the fractured Zebra tribes to once again reform the Zebra Kingdom of old.
That was a mouthful.
That's not all, I went even further then that and somehow, SOMEHOW, managed to take this kingdom and shape it into THIS worlds version of the Persian Empire, thanks to my genius, silly antics, and stupid luck.
Oh and Celly face and Lulu face now see me and my new empire as threat to Equestria itself . Accusing me of "expanding my empire too rapidly" Ooooooooh
All of it accomplished with just one good mug filled with coffee...I mean the mug itself by the way, not the coffee.

You would have no problems with this—if only it didn't start at four in the fucking morning.

As I've explained to LD, the rating bump from Teen to Mature wasn't exactly my call. A staff member kindly notified me of the rules regarding swearing in the long description of a Teen rated fic. There is no sex, no gore, just pure stupidity without the restraints of a T holding it back.

A catastrophic work accident resulted in your “death” and ended up sending you to a new dimension, one full of ponies rather than humans. You befriend many of these creatures, meet the princess, and try and find a way for you to get home. However, a dark evil happens to rise from the depths of equestrian hell, and evidently you’re prophesied to stop it. Great.
