It was safe to say that the CMC had been through a turbulent time recently, but thankfully they now have a chance to relax and think about what happened. And they won't do so alone, as they're today joined by perhaps the one person in all Equestria who knows exactly what they went through.

Twilight and Spike, siblings in all but blood, go adventuring together in Canterlot. They don't find what they are looking for, but they stumble onto something better.
Written in a universe where Spike acts more mature, and Twilight is slightly more adventurous. Both are young adults, though Spike is still considered a juvenile because 'dragon years'.
Changes are coming to two different worlds, whether anypony, or anybody, is ready for them or not.
Change happens, no matter what any creature wishes. Actions have consequences, no matter how badly you want to ignore them. And now, magic is starting to grow in the human world in a very big way, a way that can't be hidden in a single high school.
With the inevitable coming, inhabitants of two worlds have to scramble to get a grip on what's going on before it flows out of control. Hopefully they can figure out this new magic in time to ensure a peaceful relationship between the two worlds.

I was enjoying a quiet day at work, when I suddenly find myself in what I can only describe as what a person high on drugs would see, before a blinding rainbow light slams into me and knocks me unconscious.
Upon awakening, I find something very off, not only about my surroundings, but myself. For one, I seem to have become a small horse and a female one at that.
I also seem to be in a forest of some kind. Hang on. Is this the Everfree?
