Not all changelings are fit for life in a hive. But that doesn't mean they're capable of life outside it, either. Join one such changeling as he tries to find his place in Equestria, and what the difference is between survival and living.
Idol Hooves holds a special place in Equestria. He's probably the only exiled changeling to serve in the Royal Guard, or at least, that's what he expects, as exiles don't really broadcast that fact. However, it's well known that Princess Celestia loves all of her little ponies, and her guards perhaps more so, and that makes it one of the best ways for a changeling to discreetly feed.
But how does a changeling even get there, let alone get exiled in the first place? For that matter, why would it ever go to Canterlot? Set a number of years before the series proper, before Luna’s redemption, Idol details how he was exiled, the ponies he’s met, and the series of misadventures that led him to joining the Royal Guard, and should continue a good ways into the series, as something of an alternate perspective.
Soon, he’ll have to deal with a boisterous new princess to serve and a royal wedding in the works bringing a third to power. Will his old instincts bring this new life crashing down around him? What precipitates Chrysalis’s ill-fated assault on Canterlot? Is it really so wrong for a changeling to enjoy good craftsmanship to an obsessive degree?
A young man wakes up in Equestria as a very adorable Alicorn colt, gets forcibly adopted by Luna, and tries to find his way home.
Dark Tag is for Black Comedy and slightly morbid situations!
A young man by the name of Oliver Leaf finds himself trapped in another world...as a young colt. A young Alicorn colt.
As if this wasn't bad enough, he's got a terrifying enthusiastic blue one trying to mother him, a pink one competing to do the same, and a white one who does nothing except watch on in amusement.
Add all of this on top of the other personalities that keep trying to take control of his body, and it's little wonder why he keeps trying to run away. Especially when not all of them are quite as innocent as he would like.
This story is very similar when compared with To Run From The Sun, if only because of its short chapters and OOC ponies.
Rated Teen for suggestive scenes and the occasional bit of colorful language.
Gleaming Shield wants a simple life. Fate wants something else completely. Stupidity ensues.
Ever since she could remember, Gleaming Shield didn't ask for much from life. Being able to support herself financially, possibly advancing her guard career, and maybe—just maybe—confessing her feelings to her very-good-friend-and-secret-crush, Anon. You know, the little things. That's not too much to ask for right? Right?
While on a job to deliver supplies to a new colony in the Andromeda Galaxy, something goes horribly wrong. David Lawson finds himself the sole surviror of a devestating crash on an unknown world. An unkown world full of colorful talking ponies...
Note* This story is prewritten and will be updated weekly.
In the year 2037, humanity developed the technology to travel across galaxies. Several companies sprang up with intent to travel to the Andromeda galaxy and develop Earth's first colony. David Lawson joined one such company, but on the flight back to Earth, something went terribly wrong. Now, David has crash landed on an unknown planet. He is all alone... or so he thought.
Midnight Shadow, a unicorn mare from Canterlot, takes responsibility for the strange alien creature and saves his life, but can he even make a life for himself in this new world? Can he ever find happiness? Security? Love?
The way certain characters act was inspired by a few other stories on here, namely Fleeting Flames, To Find a Rainbow, and Lyra's Confession. I highly recommended you read those if you haven't yet.
Also, this is my first story ever, so please be gentle. Tagged with violence due to a small fight in chapter 3 and descriptions of blood and burn wounds. Nothing too crazy, but tagged just to be safe. Tagged with sex because of sex.
If this story is any good whatsoever, I attribute that to my best friend and fantastic editor AJ. Also, I would probably have far more spelling mistakes and bad grammar if not for BurningDusk. He read through all of my crap before hand and made sure it was legible.

A German column running from the Russians gets stuck in Equestria. They get tangled up in a war between Equestria and the Gryphon Empire. Can they turn the tide?
((Edit: Wooo, we made the front page. Yes! *Hoof pump*))
A German Panzer column during world war 2 gets pulled into Equestria where they stumble upon the crystal empire. Meanwhile, Equestria's hostile northern neighbour, The Gryphon Empire, is gearing up for war. Will the Germans be able to turn the odds in Equestria's favour?
Shining and Cadance discuss their past flings. Shining never had any. Cadance did. And she probably shouldn't talk about it.
Cadance has never really talked with Shining about her love life before they started dating. She didn't see the point; they love each other as much as two ponies ever could, after all, and she never even thinks about her earliest fling.
Mostly never.
Until Shining asks her about it, and Cadance remembers why she didn't want to tell him in the first place. Even as the Princess of Love, how is she supposed to explain to her husband that she slept with his father?
Princess Cadance resurrects her husband without his memories. Shining Armor suspects something else is going on.
Shining Armor goes to sleep one night and wakes up in the future, having been resurrected by his wife Princess Cadance for the fourth time. All of his memories of the past century are missing, and his kingdom is nearly unrecognizable.
As Shining struggles to make sense of the new world around him, he begins to suspect there's more to the story he isn't being told...
The Piano Man is free, but must now recover from his captivity and adjust to life in Equestria.
The Piano Man has spent the last month in captivity, forced to play the piano as part of The Great and Powerful Trixie's traveling show. Now he's free, and recovering under the care of the Equestrian monarchy while Trixie awaits trial for her crimes. All is not well, however. The Piano Man has a long road of recovery ahead, and all the time he must compete with overbearing carers, his own mental trauma, and even discrimination from members of Equestria's unicorn supremacist subculture.
This story is the kinda(can't stress that part enough) better-written sequel to 'The Piano Man'. Because the first story involved some rather dark scenes, I have included a helpful catch-up in the first chapter - so if you have no interest in reading a dark story, then you can ignore the first piece and skip straight ahead to this one. 'The Piano Man: Act II' is most certainly not a dark story, and neither is it sad. The sad tag is in place for scenes in which I reference the previous installment, and nothing else.
The absolutely amazing cover image was created by the even more amazing WIL_I_ZIN, (deviantART) who is just... just awesome, for helping out.
What would you do if a pony moved into the apartment upstairs? Would you make an effort to meet her? What would you talk about? And what kind of pony leaves Equestria for Earth in the first place?
This is a series of slice-of-life episodes about a young man who meets a pony in New Jersey. Equestria has made contact with Earth; creations and creators have been sorting things out for a couple of years, and a smattering of ponies are gradually starting to move to Earth. Told though human eyes, here's the story of one of them.
Prince Antares, formerly the human TD Powell, helps lead the ponies of Equestria through the trials and tribulatons his nation endures.
Prince Antares, formerly the human TD Powell, has ascended to rule Equestria alongside Celestia and Luna to form the Equestrian Triumvirate. Taking his residency in Baltimare, Antares comes into his role as smoothly as he can, given the circumstances.
But not all is right with the world.
A warmongering king in the newly formed minotaur nation has just allied with the griffin empire, a country that recently gained a leader unfriendly to Equestria. Now Antares will face his first true test as an alicorn prince of Equestria. He must lead his peace loving ponies into the hells of war, and face an Equestria that will never be the same.
Space...the final front tier...PFFT can't believe I said that! Well besides that well lets just say the universe is a big place.
This story is for my new years revolution...
Special thanks to Issactheautobot for the 1,2, and 3 chapter along with Resident Moron with 8 and 10 chapter.
After a unknown of turn of events a human from earth is somehow transformed into a creature known as a Protogen. The sci-fi loving human is at first shocked by his new form but he soon turns his fear into joy when he finds out what he is become.
Sadly though he isn't on earth any more.
On a back words world known as Equis the young Protogen begans to build his home but ends up caught inbetween politics and other outside problems. He always loved meeting new people but some of these guys wish to take him apart for science while others want to learn from him.
Princess Blueblood sleeps her way to the top, no matter how many relatives she has to climb over (or under) first.
Princess Blueblood was born with a title she didn't earn which ultimately accounts for nothing. She knows this, yet while her position holds little influence on the ponies surrounding her, her pussy certainly does.
When the princess wants something done her way, or she's looking to gain an advantage, it's not who she knows, but who she fucks.
Poor Shining never stood a chance.
For now complete, but track this just in case I decide to do more with it.
Right before the Elements struck, the Nightmare unleashed a spell out of desperation. A substitution spell. Otherwise known as the correct use of Kawarimi.
As the elements were unleashed, the Nightmare knew it was over. But it would not let it's fun end. No, it would not be left behind. It would find another world to bring to ruin. As for the poor sap that was left in It's place? He was going to get blasted, what did it matter what he ended up getting from It?
Three best friends end up in Equestria but not all of them are ponies. One who isn't a brony, and even borderlines on being a hater, is a griffin. Another who is more calculating and cocky but hates hiding is a changeling. Finally the last of them is a unicorn who's special talent is that he adapts and overcomes. Together these three best friends will fight changelings, ponies, demigods, and the god of chaos himself. Artwork by Sara Germany ([email protected]). (http://saracorgi.deviantart.com/ )
