In the future mankind has taken to the stars, the Pathfinders explore the galaxy to find safe travel routes and systems worth exploring. David Miller, the commander of Pathfinder 5 finds himself on a world that defies all known science. With talking pony like creatures, apparently magic and a certain purple unicorn that wants to know everything about the stars and space.

Unfortunately for me, these so-called 'side effects' involved dragging my defenceless self through time and space from my normal everyday life in the most abrupt teleport known to man. Transforming me into a small strange pegasus thing in the process and promptly spitting my ass out into the most deranged forest I've ever seen.

Everypony enjoys myths and ponytales, even if they know such things aren't real. Alicorns fighting against a spirit of chaos? An ancient princess trapped in a library under a tree, waiting to be found? Quite enchanting and fantastic tales yes, but nonetheless as fictional as Daring Do and other such stories. At least, that's what Rarity used to think.
