It turns out that laser pointers are able to control the minds of bat ponies
Laser Pointers are banned in Equestria, and if one is found its owner will not be getting a trial, parole, or a phone call. Why, well they kind of mind control bat ponies into acting like lemmings if it means catching that weird red dot.
Anon likes to keep to himself, but Celestia thinks he should make friends.
Anon likes his life to be simple. He wakes up, goes to work and sometimes gets himself a good book to read while he is home. It's a routine that he likes to follow, it makes him feel like he has a bit of normality with his life in Equestria. The fact that having Celestia come crashing into his home as part of his routine should prove that his life is anything but normal.
Anon is trying to move on with his life after what happened in Ponyville but it's hard to ignore what's right in front of him.
Things are a lot better for Anon since the events of Ponyville. His store is doing great and he enjoys the company of all his friends. As the days go on, he finds that the problems of the past are quick to haunt him as he is forced to face the one thing that hurt him the most.
With things improving, Celestia is now interested in trying to court Anon but things are never that simple when it comes to Anon.
For Anon, so much has changed in a little amount of time. He can't really complain about it either. Things are getting better and he knows that the sisters are happy too. However, there's been a change in Celestia, it's small but it still has him questioning the reason. Did he do something wrong or could it be something else?

I used to love that premise. I thought it made for a fun debate of nature vs nurture and all that. I just never expected it to happen. Now Tom's gone and I don't know what to do!
I used to love the idea of a human getting to visit Equestria. It sounded like a good way to set up so many shenanigans, except it's plagued with boring characters or really cliché ones or... the dreaded Sue. I never expected it to happen. For real. No, that's not real. What am I saying? Tom's... missing. Yes, and I will find him. He's not in the show... that's ridiculous. Don't say such things! My little brother can't be part of the show! It's just a coincidence that this little alicorn showed up, spoke with his voice, has the exact same personality and is based on his personal design for his alicorn OC! IT'S NOT REAL!

Princess Celestia finds a baby Changeling Queen during her travels. She had intended to bring her back to Canterlot only temporarily, until she could find the hive the Queen belonged to. For now though, the Changeling Queen was just Twilight Sparkle
Changelings and ponies had always been natural enemies of each other, especially with the crystal ponies when they were around. Why wouldn't they be? Changelings were like parasites, feeding off the love that ponies gave off and driving them to illness.
However, Changelings had begun to decline. What started out with as seven hives have diminished down into three, all of which had gone into hiding so well that most ponies didn't know what changelings even were. Even Celestia had not seen one for quite a while, a long feat for an immortal pony.
Until she found a nymph. A new Changeling Queen.
Unable to find it within herself to abandon the changeling, Celestia ends up taking the nymph back to Canterlot under guise as Twilight Sparkle. The plan was simple; find the hive that Twilight belonged to and return her back to be raised with her race.
Of course, despite everything she learned through her long life, she had forgotten that things were never that simple.
For starters, she did not anticipate herself to grow fond of Twilight as time began to pass, or to beam in happiness when Twilight began to refer to her as mom.

Being a guest in the royal castle has its advantages, especially when you can convince one of the rulers to let you touch her fluffy ears.
Being stuck in Equestria isn’t as bad as you would think. The creatures are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and even the rulers of the Equestria themselves are very welcoming. Naturally some people feel the need to test just how welcoming certain rulers are, and very fluffy ears are such a tempting target… Oh, before I forget, Anon is indeed a woman in this fic. Rainbow, the youngest of the mane six, is clueless when it comes to making stallions happy. Twilight can help her, but just so long as Shining's willing to lend a hoof too! Well, more than just a hoof... (Light RGRE)
Being barely nineteen when all of your friends are in their early/mid twenties is a bit of a bitch for Rainbow Dash. She's used to being treated like the child of the group, and constantly boasts to cover up her embarrassment.
Only... she's found something she really can't get through without the help of a friend, and it's stopping her from pursuing relationships: she doesn't know the first thing about sex. Like, anything about how to make a stallion happy!
Twilight wants to help, but she's hardly a stallion. Luckily, her brother's visiting the castle, and what's the harm in a brother/sister teaching session?
They say a human's hair will give you eternal luck. A human's touch will cure any disease... and a human's blood will grant you immortality.
A clerical error in the Registry of Mortals sends an unwitting human to a strange land. It wouldn't be so bad, if the ponies there weren't out for his blood.
Literally.
A little twist on the myth that unicorns were hunted for their fantastical powers.
Lyra finally sees a real human in Equestria and offers him a job.
You, Anon, have finally made a place for yourself here in Equestria. Money is a bit tight, so you go looking for a job every day. Finally, you run into a pony who happens to love humans. She knows all about them. With a glee, she offers you a job, and you happily accept. You need the money, after all. However, the job is nothing like what you would expect.
A human stays among ponies, mystifying them with his odd traditions and customs. It will be five years before Celestia and Twilight can send him back to his homeworld. Until then, Twilight wants to study him and have him experience pony culture. These are their stories.
Lyra knows there’s a human hidden in Ponyville, and with the begrudging help of Rainbow Dash, she’s going to find them. The real mystery, though, is why her reluctant partner hates humans so much.
Lyra’s hunt for the supernatural in Ponyville continues unabated, and this week the object of her desire is not changelings, nor sea-ponies, but the rare and secretive human. With the help of her plucky (and irritable) assistant Rainbow Dash, Lyra is sure that this time she’s going to get to the bottom of a real mystery. However, the real question is why does Rainbow Dash hate humans?
Spike deals with a growth spurt, as well as a childhood friend attracted to said growth-spurt.
Change only becomes frightening when it begins to affect you.
Spike has remained a baby while everyone else is growing up. His desire to do the same, however, lands him in a hospital bed with a strange new body.
Ponies are treating him differently, the world he once knew is no longer the same, and the onset of sudden changes are hard to adapt to. Fortunately, Scootaloo is there to ease him through his recovery.
This story would be unreadable were it not for the editing master, Props, the handy-dandy proofreader, CitrusFizz, and man who has three pairs of eyes, Setokaiva.
What's worse? Dealing with rude nobles, or a super hot dragon princess that keeps teasing you? At least one of them has a pretty sexy payoff.
You've been working as an assistant to Twilight for a couple of months now. In that time, you've become more than used to visits from self-important nobles and dignitaries, ambassadors and other assorted assholes. You hate them, of course, but making them feel well looked after is your job, and you make sure you do it well.
And then... there's Ember. When you meet her, you're first struck by her beauty, and then immediately after, you're struck by her tail for staring too long.
Can you deal with this rude, insensitive bitch long enough to get through the day, especially when Twilight leaves the two of you alone together?
