Anastasia loves almost everything about My Little Pony. She also loves Fluttershy, her favourite pony from the show. One morning, Anastasia wakes up and discovers that she has transformed overnight into Fluttershy. In amidst the shock, Anastasia learns what it's like to be a pony.
A harsh truth leads Celestia to Earth, there she meets a human who will change her life forever.
Princess Celestia has been responsible for the care and well being of Equestria for countless centuries. The ponies all across the land love and respect her, or at least that's what she thought. Now, what began, as a series of vicious rumors has been proven true. More and more the princess discovered that a growing number of her subjects do not truly love and admire her. In fact many find her cold, rigid and overly strict. Of course this couldn't be further from the truth. But the sway in their opinions begins to weigh heavily on Celestia's mind. It begins to make her heart weep when she learns that a number of her subjects only befriend her for the status it brings them. While there are many who truly love and adore Celestia, she is still greatly disturbed by this new development. It only further adds to another of her woes. During this emotional crisis, she realizes that even being surrounding by ponies, just how lonely she has been. It's been too long since she had a special somepony to turn to.
In her distressed state, she convinces her sister Luna that all she needs is some time off, when in fact Celestia just wants to get away from everything. After making some minor preparations, she leaves Canterlot. The princess remembers the crumbled ruins of the human settlement and journeys there. It's her hope to make use of the once sealed gateway to Earth. A strong yen to get away from Equestria, after dealing with its welfare for so many years, takes hold of her. Since she can't find what she seeks in her own world, it's her hopes that maybe she can find it somewhere else.
Following her arrival on Earth, Celestia observes just how much the human world has changed in the 2,000 years since humans last lived in her world. Her search for solace eventually leads to her to the home of a human man, in his early 30's, but just what will she find once she reveals herself to him? And how will meeting this human change her life forever?

Follows a former professor who was brought to Equestria and spent 5 years as a pit fighter before being 'rescued' by Cadence during a raid by the Royal Guard. Begins some time before the events of Season 1. Unlike the native humans, this human can vocalize, but quickly realizes that revealing this will get him 'fixed' or experimented on. He also doesn't trust ponies, he's seen the dark underbelly of pit fighting too long. He stays with Cadence while planning his escape to a place where ponies won't pursue him.
