You are Regol of Seuhans, a skilled Hexblade from another world, and you've woken up in a place called Griffonstone.
You were tended to by a trio of griffon girls who, unbeknownst to you, might have a thing for the unusual... and being the only "human" in this strange new world, that puts you quite high in the "Unusual Scale".
These griffons - Gilda, Greta, and Gabby, decided to come up with a compromise for their shared feelings with you, and formed a "Flock", or the Griffon-Equivalent of a "Herd".
Not really knowing the full meaning behind it, you simply went with their offer when they invited you to join them.
But a few minor complications with the law leads to the four of you traveling the world, taking on a multitude of quests to help protect the inhabitants of Equus, both well-known and unknown alike, from various degrees of issues, ranging from doing simple favors around various towns, to hunting down the strongest kinds of monsters and villains, alike... all at a price, of course.
After all, it's part of the Griffon Code... blades for bits, and favors for fortunes.
Mostly written because there isn't enough proper Gabby fanfics around here (or Greta, for that matter!) Though it'll contain "Sex", it's a story first, and foremost!
Don't let the "ANON" Tag fool you. I've decided to give it a unique twist by incorporating my own version of "Anon" titled "Enigma Gray", then ran it into the Hylian Name Generator, which gave me "Regol Seuhans", which I think sounds better than "Anon" anyways. So same name meaning, but executed differently for a much more "unique" feel for your character. Besides that, I view Anon as less of a "Character" and more of a "Concept" for humanity in general, regardless of which walk of life they lived beforehand.

This will be my first shot at a historical fiction (sort've, since it's a legend crossed with MLP) , which means I actually had to do a fair bit of research on Japanese warrior monks and folklore to accomplish accurately and smoothly. That said, this is fiction, this is the MLP Universe, and Benkei himself is from a legend, so its still gonna be pretty unrealistic in that sense. I decided against using the japanese names for armor as it just serves to confuse people. However, if you prefer the japanese names, here is a helpful diagram. Also, the weapon Benkei is holding in the cover art is a naginata, in case that wasn't clear.
Also, for those wondering, no, Benkei will not be speaking Japanese for the whole story as I don't actually speak Japanese and have been relying on painstaking crosschecking with google translate to get the simple Japanese phrases that have been included to make sense when translated back to English. Don't worry, he'll be speaking English soon enough.
Lastly, this story will be updated every month . Its sortve a background project I want to continue to write to see how far I can take it while I write other things.
Side Note: Sex Tag is for references to sex, talk about sex, and some heated situations. This is a teen story, and there will be no directly written clop. Sorry!

Below is a simple summary of Benkei's REAL legend that happened preceeding chapter 1, and partially during the prologue.
Japanese legend tells of a man named Saito Musashibo Benkei. The origins of his birth are unknown, and the first time Benkei was seen, he was a fully grown man. After joining a monastery of monks, and then being exiled from it Benkei built a shrine next to a bridge and stood guard. He defeated 999 swordsmen before being bested, and in a display of honor, he became his adversary's retainer. Benkei fought during the Genpei wars, the giant of a man bringing death on the swift wings of his naginata, a bladed pole sword. He lived a long and exciting life, but all good things come to an end, and Benkei died defending the bridge to his master's castle. He defeated 300 samurai before finally dying of mortal wounds, but Benkei did not fall. He died standing up, at least that's how the legend goes.

Equestria has long been known as the land of ponies. However, the name of Equestria is misleading. For far too long, a certain element has been missing from the world. And now, that element has been brought back. But for better or for worse?
Due to site updates resulting in a more restrictive genre listing, I am listing here that on top of the three genres the story is listed under, the story also contains prominent elements of Dark, Tragedy, Sad, Drama, and Adventure.
Also, to set the record straight, this story begins after the end of Season 2, but before Season 3. Therefore, any plot elements from future episodes that may conflict with the plot of this story is effectively noncanon.
A human with powers, which he does not know how to fully control, ends up in equestria with his little sister after their home was destroyed.
Daniel was you're average person, 19 years old and not long to finishing college. On his last day everything he knew went wrong when he met a strange Unicorn. After his encounter he died but he was reborn later and merged with something nicknamed 'The Heart'. While this gives him quite a range of powers, he also finds out his mental state is unchanged and he can't fully control them.
With his lack of training with his powers it makes him determined to train and learn to control them so he can avoid hurting himself, and others. As he does this he also does all he can do to keeps himself from using his powers a lot in public, fearing it will hurt his sister Annabelle or it will lead to them them being discovered.
Not long after a event that leaves them without their parents, they enter Equestria and just wish to live peacefully without any of the ponies knowing what they are and what Daniel is capable of, but I seems that fate has other plans for him.
Note: I don't have the best Grammar so if you want to read this just be prepared for Grammar Errors every now and then.

After a unknown of turn of events a human from earth is somehow transformed into a creature known as a Protogen. The sci-fi loving human is at first shocked by his new form but he soon turns his fear into joy when he finds out what he is become.

Right before the Elements struck, the Nightmare unleashed a spell out of desperation. A substitution spell. Otherwise known as the correct use of Kawarimi.
As the elements were unleashed, the Nightmare knew it was over. But it would not let it's fun end. No, it would not be left behind. It would find another world to bring to ruin. As for the poor sap that was left in It's place? He was going to get blasted, what did it matter what he ended up getting from It?

So begins my first HiE, let alone my first story to be published here. I hope it will be my longest piece to date (even if I never submitted most of my others). I have a long way to go before I can be a professional writer, but that's what this is all about, isn't it? Exercising our writing muscles in a place where some may find enjoyment in our attempts to improve ourselves. So please, lay into me. Tell me what I'm doing wrong, I implore you. It is the only way I will grow as a writer. And, if I can set aside my stubborn pride long enough to learn something, perhaps I will do just that.

But of course, avoiding ponies only turns out to be the easy part when trouble has a habit of reading its ugly head. Really though, what could go wrong?

After his sudden death on his way to school due to an idiot driver, Ken Williams wakes up to find himself as a strange quadruped with wings and a horn.
Set shortly after the season 5 premiere, but before episode three
Romance tag readded due to a lack of a certain mare having a ship in the finale.
Normally, Ken wouldn't have minded finding an excuse to get out of school. However, being hit by a car and suddenly waking up as a strange four legged creature with purple fur, wings and a horn is not something he'd have chosen just to play hooky.
Now in a world he continually doesn't understand and makes him... now a her, want to pull her hair out, Ken must learn how to coincide with the creatures of Equestria, while finding her place in this bizare world that defies all senses of logic she was raised with. On top of that, she's now apparently a princess and has to deal with nobles fawning over her, including one male who she knows is definitely just trying to get into her new female parts to breed, and she'll have none of that.
Of all the things she could've chosen to get out of school, this was definitely not one of them and she just wants to go back to normal. Sadly, that doesn't seem likely to happen any time soon.
Though not pertaining to the main character, Romance tag does still apply to other characters in this story. It's just the Tag Limiter wouldn't let me keep Romance Tag after I edited the description a little, so had to remove the tag, even if it still holds some small weight on the story.
