Author’s Notes
I often find Displaced fics to be more often Miss than Hit with me. Often, they're generic, poorly written, or just do not do anything worth reading with the concept. This is an experiment to trt out a few other concepts which aren’t used often, even by me, including some which directly subvert Displaced as a genre, and maybe even come up with some advice for those authors. This is also a crossover with the upcoming Dragon: The Oroboroi Chronicles, a World of Darkness rulebook which I lead the development team for.

Horror/Dark Tags
I've had multiple people ask "how bad does it get?" Note the lack of the "gore", "sad", or "mature" tags or anything like that. Yes, there is blood and death at some point in this story, but the real horror of this story comes from the philosophical and scientific quandaries the characters go through: this is "intellectual horror", not "visceral horror".
Length
In the interest of this NOT becoming one of those long, sprawling fics, I plan to keep this limited to a manageable 10 chapter limit, not counting Prologue and Epilogue. No one wants to read something that long, and I'd rather not be stressing over this 6 months from now.
Sequel
The Sequel is already in the works, with scenes already written. It will be a more episodic story revolving around world optimization and interplanar hijinks.
Crossovers
To be clear, I do plan on having the main character make one of those "Token" things, but as they often get in the way of actual stories, that won't happen until the end of the story. The Sequel will be crossover-heavy.

Human civilization ended on May 23, 2015, when everyone on earth became a pony. This is the story of how they lived, how they died, and what they achieved.
On May 23, 2015, the world ended. It wasn't violent, it wasn't bloody, and it wasn't even very dramatic. The entire population of the planet vanished. But they didn't stay gone; almost at once refugees started trickling back. Unfortunately for them, they didn't come back with their humanity intact.
Instead of a single species, the earth is now populated with Ponies, griffons, dragons, minotaurs, and even stranger creatures. What will the remnants of humanity make with their world? Will they remember human achievements, or slip back into primitive ignorance? Learn from our mistakes, or repeat them over and over?
People haven't really changed, only their bodies have. The world now comes with new threats, supernatural as well as mundane. Demons lurk beneath the sea, while strange spirits whisper promises in dreams. Empires rise, dictators control, and ponies have nowhere to turn for help. Nowhere except themselves, and old-fashioned hard work.
This story is effectively an anthology of episodes, each of which will focus on a different time period and different perspective characters.

Feeling that because everything else in one's life is happy, it's therefore wrong to be miserable because you're not getting sexually fulfilled. Contrast. Shame over small penis size/struggles with the practicality of large penis size. A Bountiful Harvest. A pony is curious about the kind of play where you need a safe word. It's Not Unusual: A non-neurotypical pony is just as welcome as any other customer, with or without a few small, fun kinks. Wrong End of the Leash: "Being a stallion" doesn't mean you need to be dominant.
A somewhat different take on the phrase "sex therapist". Many of the chapters will deal with situations that are sensitive to some people, so slurs, shaming, trolling, derogatory comments, etc. will simply be deleted.
I do accept suggestions for these stories! However, I will only accept ideas that stay true to the purpose of Ember's. Ember helps ponies with their sex-related problems. Suggestions such as "I think Ember and X pony would be hot" will be ignored. Suggestions such as "What if Ember were to meet a pony with Y problem?" or "I think X pony might be in Z situation and Ember could help" will be considered. I do also sometimes accept commissions to write these (and other) stories for money, and am slightly more flexible about subject matter on such stories. Ember does see "ordinary" clients who just want a good time and don't have problems, after all!
This story takes place in the same universe as Honey Pie, but otherwise has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

A pair of Police officers are involved in a car crash whilst on duty during a supernatural storm. Much to their surprise, they soon realise that they are no longer in their home town or even their own world.

Well... turns out the stone is used to transform Twilight into an alicorn, increasing his problems a thousand fold, and Celestia unexpectedly moves in as his new roommate after giving up her crown to Twilight.
