A prequel set in the continuity of My Little Apprentice. This story is not required to understand that one, or vice-versa.

What's one of the more embarrassing things you could ever have happen to you? Getting a wingboner in front of all your friends seems pretty high on the list. Short ficlet based on a prompt I got on my Tumblr blog. Original prompt was to write a drabble set in a universe where "timers are set on the wrist of every person once they are a certain age, slowly counting down until the day they meet their soulmate".
The journey of one changeling after he is left for dead, saved by Twilight, and is taught how to live again by the ponies around him.
Shade was nearly dead when he was discovered by his former pony enemies. Now he will begin a journey that will teach him what it means to live, laugh, and love as only a pony can. And he’ll make plenty of friends along the way.
