Starlight Glimmer and Trixie have learned much about friendship and each other ever since they met, but their latest challenge proves to be the toughest yet. As Princess Twilight and her close friends visit a faraway town to solve a friendship problem, Starlight is tasked with taking care of the Castle of Friendship and resolving any related problems, and Trixie agrees to help out.
Unfortunately, that's the easiest part of the day, and it doesn't take long for them to regret helping out.
When Princess Twilight Sparkle hears rumors of a dark cult centered around worship of her, she asks her mentor for advice. The answers are not what she expected.
Rumors of a dark cult on the rise are circulating around Equestria. As Princess, Twilight Sparkle has no choice but to investigate this potentially dangerous development.
When she finds that the cult is worshiping her as a divine figure, things become more uncomfortable.
So Twilight falls back to her safe answer: consulting with Celestia for advice.

In fact many find her cold, rigid and overly strict. Of course this couldn't be further from the truth. But the sway in their opinions begins to weigh heavily on Celestia's mind. It begins to make her heart weep when she learns that a number of her subjects only befriend her for the status it brings them. While there are many who truly love and adore Celestia, she is still greatly disturbed by this new development. It only further adds to another of her woes. During this emotional crisis, she realizes that even being surrounding by ponies, just how lonely she has been. It's been too long since she had a special somepony to turn to.
In her distressed state, she convinces her sister Luna that all she needs is some time off, when in fact Celestia just wants to get away from everything. After making some minor preparations, she leaves Canterlot. The princess remembers the crumbled ruins of the human settlement and journeys there. It's her hope to make use of the once sealed gateway to Earth. A strong yen to get away from Equestria, after dealing with its welfare for so many years, takes hold of her. Since she can't find what she seeks in her own world, it's her hopes that maybe she can find it somewhere else.
Following her arrival on Earth, Celestia observes just how much the human world has changed in the 2,000 years since humans last lived in her world. Her search for solace eventually leads to her to the home of a human man, in his early 30's, but just what will she find once she reveals herself to him? And how will meeting this human change her life forever?

On a regular day you did the usual, go to Sugar Cube Corner then to the gym, then the rest of the day is your oyster. There was this one occasion where you were invited by Fluttershy to help her with her animals, funny thing was that Rainbow Dash was there as well, but you don't remember that day very well, until they both came to your house to tell you some shocking news.
The Princesses discover a far-off kingdom of strange magic and foreign creatures, and decide to investigate. Once again, Twilight Sparkle is left behind. And ONCE AGAIN, she has to write the apology letter.
When a new, strange kingdom of magic is discovered to the far west of Equestria, the Royal Sisters take an entourage and investigate. Which nearly sparks ANOTHER international incident.
Once again, they don't bring Twilight. And ONCE AGAIN, she's left to clean up the mess. Which involves yet another very long letter.
