After leaving Ponyville, the human TD Harrison Powell finds himself in even stranger territory than the land of the ponies. Will he find his way home? Or will he find out that he should have stayed in Ponyville under the watchful eyes of the Royal Sisters after all?

Princess Twilight has seen some strange things in the past few years. She made the best friends a mare could have, she had some amazing adventures, became an alicorn princess, saved the world a few times, and got a palace to call her very own. Yet for all that, the strangest has yet to come.
There are new strangers in Ponyville. That's not too odd, but they're not ponies. They're human! But they're not like any human Twilight saw on the other side of the Mirror. Their magic isn't like anything she's ever seen, either. She'd love to learn more, but there's a problem. These humans could give Fluttershy lessons in keeping out of sight.
Dealing with snooping aliens was not exactly what Twilight had planned to put on top of her royal agenda.
I started writing this back before Season Five. It's not a new idea, not hardly, but no matter how many first contact stories I sifted through, always it was from the alien perspective. The pony perspective would come to the fore only rarely, and usually only with sizable external influences.
This story takes the idea of an alien observation team but is entirely from the locals' standpoint. What do you do when there's an alien science outpost next door?

Anon has been having a hard time in Equestria. Applejack works him hard and his love life is non-existent. When he agrees to house-sit for Twilight he arrives to find her mother Velvet has decided to do it for her. Instead of leaving they agree to watch the castle together. He comes to find out she's been feeling neglected in her marriage for a while. They're both starved for love, maybe they can help each other out?
Rumble, on his quest to expand his horizons, sets off to see if Zecora will let him practice potion making with her. Unfortunately she's out on an errand, although her cousin, Zibari, is minding her hut while she's away.
Rumble's been having a grand old time, trying out all sorts of stuff since the Cutie Mark Day Camp. Deciding he wanted to get a little experience with potion making, the colt sets off to visit Zecora, to see if the zebra will allow him to get some practice on the subject. Sadly, she's unavailable but her cousin, Zibari, is visiting. Maybe this new zebra could show Rumble some new tricks and expand his horizons!

Oh, and she found a nearly-dead foal, broken and bleeding at the edge of Ponyville.
The rest of her day became a whirlpool of stress and worry but the colt woke up, thank Celestia. Something's not right, though. Nopony can find his parents, he's not in the registers, and there's an unsettling look in his eye...

It is, however, the story of two apprentices, and how they manage to find one another amongst the chaos and damn the plot to hell. They'll also have sex a lot.
A love story between two 'minor characters', because why should the heroes get all of the screen time? The sex won't be happening instantly, but expect plenty in later chapters!
