A newly hatched changeling feels like the world around is more strange than it should be but can't understand why.
After losing her hive, Queen Chrysalis is forced to start another one. Luckily she has the help of a few loyal subjects who never accepted their fellow changelings new way of life. They must stay hidden from enemies, collect enough food to survive and rebuild their strength. Now the first brood has hatched and there is something very different about one of the larva.
When a foal is sent flying with the changelings, Chrysalis takes it upon herself to care for the foal. The pony will grow up and learn of the changeling's struggle as she journeys throughout Equestria.
What is it like not knowing who you are? To be different from everyone?
When a foal is accidentally sent flying with the changelings, it is up to Chrysalis to care and raise the lost filly, though keeping her from learning about her own kind would prove more difficult than it seems. After living her whole life with changelings, this little filly's life is turned upside down when she takes her first steps outside the hive. Old tensions are revealed, and this little filly is going to learn that changelings don't have it easy. But what can filly like her do? All the answers wait for her in Equestria, where she will meet new faces and see new places.
The world is vast and so is time, but not even that can hide the existence of an ancient city forever.

Something that I'm sure has been done to death but, since reading East of Eden, I wanted to do something a little more thought provoking. I got the idea while I was alone in my house, with just the sound of a clock ticking to keep me company.
Anon wants to surprise Cheerilee with a few gifts after a long work day for her. As the day goes on, interesting events happen that not even Anon was expecting.
Being a teacher can sometimes just suck. Anon is totally aware of this and being friends with Cheerilee, it only proves his hypothesis. One day he decides to surprise her with some cupcakes and flowers to show that there are people/ponies that appreciate what she does. He hopes it will make her rough day better. After he meets with Cheerilee, a lot of interesting things happen that not even Anon was expecting.

However, as the months drag on, the stress has slowly begun threatening to bring her towards the breaking point. Whilst seeking out what she believes might finally show the ponies that she only means well, the Princess of the Night happens to stumble upon something not ever once seen upon the face of the planet. A piece of ancient knowledge, all but completely lost to the passage of time.
