When she finds that the cult is worshiping her as a divine figure, things become more uncomfortable.
So Twilight falls back to her safe answer: consulting with Celestia for advice.
Unfortunately, Celestia's answers are not what Twilight expected.

Discord once gave him a gift. It was given in grief. John has yet to understand what this gift means. He has lost track of time and madness and sanity wage a constant war in his mind.
For John, the greatest terror in his heart is facing the Goddesses.
It's a great irony that one of the most frightening things is telling that special someone how you feel. It's even worse for Jonathan, who's been through many-a situation that were much more stressful. He finds that words aren't always necessary.
Jonathan is no stranger to outside pressure and working under conditions that would make lesser men break from stress... but when it comes to the cutie-pie of a mailmare named Derpy Hooves, also one of his greatest friends, he's beside himself on how to approach conveying the feelings that have matured within him for the past several months. Not only has she been the greatest, most caring friend, but she's also incredibly adorable in her ways, enough to elicit the desire for Jonathan to want more between them.
...and that butt of hers doesn't help, especially since he's an 'ass man.'
With a little bit of reassurance from himself and another friend, he'll just have to casually ask the important question; just drop it in the middle of conversation like it's something simple. That's all there is to it... right?

As they go to sleep each night, they dream of each other and a bond develops that neither one expected, only to be tested as things begin to change on Earth.
Herman always thought that ponies were an exceedingly friendly bunch, and he figured it was in their nature to be kind and open to all strangers—even to those of different races. But what if he was wrong? What if there was another explanation?
He mentions this fact in his memoirs, but shortly after he sends them to be published he is informed that the Royal Guard wants him for questioning in Canterlot.
After a string of unfortunate events, Anon finds himself in Tartarus. Fortunately, he has someone to keep him company...
Past mistakes have finally caught up with Anonymous. Time after time, he had one lewd encounter after another, all with students at the School of Friendship. Well, after his most recent fling, with one very sexually aggressive yak, he's paying the price. After being caught by Twilight Sparkle, Anon finds himself whisked away to Pony Hell Tartarus. Mercifully, he's not alone in his imprisonment; but he has to ask himself, why would anyone jail such a small, innocent mare?!?
