He's constantly under the care of a mare named Lyra Heartstrings, and her roommate Bon-Bon. What's more, he's also apparently a bit of a "myth" in this world, which means he has to hide from the Higher-Ups, or risk getting experimented on!
To top it all off, the problems that keep happening around the town of Ponyville are, in some way, shape, and/or form, tied in with these two strange mares! And they may not even realize it!
Equestria has almost everything that Earth can offer, except sign language. Fluttershy wants to have a very important conversation with you, but she just doesn't seem to be making any sense. What is she trying to say?

The longer Starlight Glimmer watches, the more she is convinced she is witnessing the end of both nations.

Luckily, ponies have pancakes and aspirin, which at least deal with the first problem. For the second, Sam's got a day off to hopefully find some answers.
Colonel Paul Werner and General Aryanne Land have a working, professional relationship, but their dynamic is put to the ultimate test with the threat of global conflict. Paul has a monumental task, and every reason to succeed.
The alliance between Equestria and Alemaneia continues to hold steadfast; Colonel Paul Werner and Generalfeldmarschall Aryanne Land's 'relationship' is at an all-time high... though that does not say much.
Things turn unprecedented, however, when Alemaneia becomes the victim. Actions against the state would never sit lightly with Aryanne, and she vows to unleash the entire military might of her nation against the offending foreign government... even at the threat of multi-state intervention in a to-be conflict.
