Anon becomes a deep-tissue massage therapist in Equestria. Like... elbow-deep.
Anon had a normal life of being a massage therapist. And then one day he accidentally opened a portal to Equestria. As the only human in this new land, it would be a shame if his magic fingers went to waste.
So he decides to work as a deep-tissue masseur at the spa with Aloe and Lotus. Ponies from all over Equestria come to work out their problems, stress and kinks. Anon: part-time masseur, full-time therapist.
Now about that happy ending...
A comment-driven episodic story. Each chapter focuses on a different character. After each chapter, YOU, the readers, nominate and vote on who you want to visit Anon for a massage next! Simply comment which character you want to visit, and after (an arbitrary amount of time)the character with the most upvotes will be next! (Duplicate nomination wont have their scores added together.) It can be any creature from MLP, even an OC! If your character doesn't get the most votes, don't despair! You can always nominate them again on the NEXT chapter.
As the only human in Equestria, Anon has been given the position of an ambassador. Because of it, he was granted an immunity by the Princesses. Literally.
An ancient law of Canterlot states that each species present within the city must have an adequate diplomatic representation. There are no exemptions from it, even as far as interdimensionals aliens are concerned. As such, Anonymous the Human must pick up the mantle of an ambassador for humanity, even if he is the sole specimen. Even if he doesn't want to.
But it's not all bad news for him. After all, with such a responsibility also come some privileges. Personal guard detail, generous private mansion, all expenses covered by the crown. And of course, diplomatic immunity. Only that, thanks to the pony magic, the word immunity is taken much more seriously in Equestria.

However, in an attempt to find a cruel primitive being, she instead finds something she did not expect. A teacher.
Story Tags and notes: There is going to be no explicit sex in this story, but gender, sex, and general reproduction will be a subject, as well as love, affection, morality, society and any other subjects that boggles my mind. This story is something I made out of a combination of my own headcanon for changelings, and with my frustration, yet love, for philosophy, which I study at writing moment at university. Author’s Notes
I often find Displaced fics to be more often Miss than Hit with me. Often, they're generic, poorly written, or just do not do anything worth reading with the concept. This is an experiment to trt out a few other concepts which aren’t used often, even by me, including some which directly subvert Displaced as a genre, and maybe even come up with some advice for those authors. This is also a crossover with the upcoming Dragon: The Oroboroi Chronicles, a World of Darkness rulebook which I lead the development team for.

Horror/Dark Tags
I've had multiple people ask "how bad does it get?" Note the lack of the "gore", "sad", or "mature" tags or anything like that. Yes, there is blood and death at some point in this story, but the real horror of this story comes from the philosophical and scientific quandaries the characters go through: this is "intellectual horror", not "visceral horror".
Length
In the interest of this NOT becoming one of those long, sprawling fics, I plan to keep this limited to a manageable 10 chapter limit, not counting Prologue and Epilogue. No one wants to read something that long, and I'd rather not be stressing over this 6 months from now.
Sequel
The Sequel is already in the works, with scenes already written. It will be a more episodic story revolving around world optimization and interplanar hijinks.
Crossovers
To be clear, I do plan on having the main character make one of those "Token" things, but as they often get in the way of actual stories, that won't happen until the end of the story. The Sequel will be crossover-heavy.

Anon had a bad feeling when he saw the ice cream machine outside Firmly Asked Questions. Not only was the world softer and fluffier than he had anticipated, but he would also have to watch his weight.
Rainbow Dash naps a lot. Every day, several times a day, she can be found sleeping on clouds, or in trees, or even, very rarely, in her own bed at her house. And she always seems to have so much free time. Does she ever do any work?
Rainbow Dash has rather a poor reputation when it comes to her workload. Everypony always thinks of her as the pony who takes three naps during daylight hours, and four on weekends, and always seems to be looking for something to do to pass the time. All of this is true, of course. But ponies seem to think this means that she must not ever get very much work done.
