This is pretty much a self-insert, mostly done for comedic purposes. After a mishap with an invention of mine, a friend and I find ourselves in the magical land of Equestria. How will the peaceful land of Equestria handle the influx of two humans? Will Jay and I ever find a way back home? Will anyone give this story a fair shot? Read and find out. Things that actually involve MLP:FiM begin in the second chapter.

Waking up while falling through the sky isnt something I wanted to happen, hitting the ground is probably the next thing. After being pieced back together and finding out that the 'humans' that were taking care of me were actually little colorful ponies. Yeah, this has to be a dream.
This is a story about Anon and his life in Equestria.
Readers, both new and old. I welcome you to the first fanfic I posted on this site. It's had a bit of a rough history. Going through many changes and even a complete rewrite that ended up failing. The fact is, you shouldn't try to rewrite your past. This is the story that started it all and now I have realised that it should stay the way it is, a flawed but loved story. This story is largely untouched with only minimal spelling changes to keep it as close to the original as possible.

A man of dark magic and dreams of domination was flung into an unsupecting world of ponies. Watch as years later this dark lord faces down the greatest challenge he's ever known: parenting.

Forgath Ironblood is a man who values power and might. He spent untold years developing his dark magics, and years more using ice and iron and balefire to claim and rule his domain. But it didn't last; a group of bold and plucky rebels broke into his inner sanctum and unleashed a magic he was unprepared for, a magic that cast him into the void between worlds. At that point, he was no longer their problem and the peasants rejoiced.
The world he fell into, however, was another story. It was a world rich in magic. A world full of innocents. A world he could bend to his will and carve a new domain out of.
He never knew what hit him.

A human colony vessel is sent to Equestria, and does not expect sapient inhabitants.
Humanity has grown to control most of the Sol system, and looks to distant stars for further expansion options. When probes discover an uncannily-earthlike planet at a vast distance, the Solar Government takes on a project larger than any before it.
A colony ship, carrying over seven thousand people, the Eclipse is constructed. Thanks to its translight engine, it is capable of making the journey within two decades. The expedition is launched with high hopes, its crew made up of the best and brightest, setting out to prove that the vastness of space was no longer an insurmountable obstacle, that landing on distant worlds full of life was no longer just a pipe dream.
What happens when this colony ship's crew arrives at their destination would forever change humanity's outlook on the rest of the universe, as well as what could be deemed possible. Supernatural beings, energies unexplainable, and most importantly, sapient organisms all populate this mysterious, fertile world. In all of its extensive preparations, is the Eclipse versatile enough to tackle the task assigned to it? Or, more importantly, is its crew?
Galaxy Hair really wants to take over the whole day/night shtick, and y'know, just make it night for like, ever. Problem is, Anon wants to sleep, but forever is a long time so, yeah. He's gonna try and do something about that. Key word, 'try'.

You're Anon, the sole human of Equestria. You've been living there for, er... you can't really recall. A year, two maybe? Anyway, every year, from what you've gathered, there is one day. One goddamn day that really pisses you off. The 'Summer Sun Celebration' comes around every (your time) August 16th, and it is literally the longest day of the year.
You would have no problems with this—if only it didn't start at four in the fucking morning.
This year just seems to be extra against you; an evil deity that's been banished to the moon for a thousand-so years decides to come back, and boy is she a bitch.
As I've explained to LD, the rating bump from Teen to Mature wasn't exactly my call. A staff member kindly notified me of the rules regarding swearing in the long description of a Teen rated fic. There is no sex, no gore, just pure stupidity without the restraints of a T holding it back.

A changeling nymph is accepted to go into deep cover in the town of Ponyville. However, what exactly are her motivations for requesting this assignment? Is it for the hive? Or is it for herself?
Most changelings are seen as drones, simple soldiers to do as they are bidden. For many of them, this could very well be true. However, if they prove themselves trustworthy, they can gain some semblance of independence.
Gel is one such changeling.
She has risen through the ranks enough to be able to request her own assignments. She chooses one no changeling has tried before: Ponyville. Her reasons are sound, after all, a particular group of mares resides in the town. These mares are well known for saving Equestria many times, so it is wise to have an agent within their proximity. However... motivations are not always as clear cut as one would say to others.
And if her motivations for going in the first place are to be questioned... perhaps there is something more to her reason for the specific target she requested?
Follow this changeling as she integrates herself into the daily hustle and bustle of Ponyville, and perhaps gains more than she could have hoped for.

Just another day on the job, or so Anon had thought. After putting the events of his rather scandalous encounter with Ocellus behind him, the janitor carries on with his daily affairs. Making his way through the facility, cleaning as he goes, something catches his attention, inside Rarity's classroom. Peeking into a closet, the last thing he expected to find was Smolder, one of the draconic students at the institution. Having been caught trying on a dainty outfit, the scaly lass is less than pleased with the human's interruption. Let's hope Anon can find some way to defuse the situation...
So, my friends and I woke up in this forest none of us recognize, and were scattered by these wooden dog things. Now I gotta find my friends before we get into any more trouble. Now if only I wasn't a foot tall, and can say more than "Eevee"....
