He’s made mistakes, such as the time he thought it would be a good idea to kidnap a unicorn to help find gems. But those mistakes don’t change his responsibilities—their pack has a sacred charge, one he will see fulfilled no matter what.

Rainbow Dash, best pony, fastest flier in Equestria, all around awesome mare, was called upon to help with the wedding of her friend's big brother. And hey, she never leaves her friends hanging! Of course, when it turned out some kind of bug thing had replaced the bride, Rainbow was more then ready to fight. Heck, even after it seemed all hope was lost, the pegasus refused to give up.
So when she saw Shining Armor charge up a final spell, she smirked.
But when that spell reached her and flung her against the wall, her smirk devolved into shock...

To hide in plain sight among the other species, blending in, while gathering the vital emotional energies that fueled his people. Few were deemed worthy of the dangerous job. He was one of the few nymphs selected for training, in the hopes that one of them would develop the skills needed to be entrusted with such a treacherous task.
But when a training expedition ends in tragedy, Nictis finds himself thrust into the role not to serve his hive and people, but to preserve his own life. Separated from the hive, alone, he must put what little training he has to the test. He must blend in with the hive's greatest source of food, and its most dangerous enemy: the ponies of Equestria.

Here it is, since early 2014, it's finally been set free. Honestly, this story is... something important to me, something cathartic if you will, something I needed to get done, something that I should have gotten done years ago but let my own problems with self loathing and just general disregard for shit get in the way. Starlight Glimmer and Trixie take care of the Castle of Friendship and resolve any related problems for a day as per Princess Twilight's request. That's the easy part.
Starlight Glimmer and Trixie have learned much about friendship and each other ever since they met, but their latest challenge proves to be the toughest yet. As Princess Twilight and her close friends visit a faraway town to solve a friendship problem, Starlight is tasked with taking care of the Castle of Friendship and resolving any related problems, and Trixie agrees to help out.
Unfortunately, that's the easiest part of the day, and it doesn't take long for them to regret helping out.
When Princess Twilight Sparkle hears rumors of a dark cult centered around worship of her, she asks her mentor for advice. The answers are not what she expected.
Rumors of a dark cult on the rise are circulating around Equestria. As Princess, Twilight Sparkle has no choice but to investigate this potentially dangerous development.
When she finds that the cult is worshiping her as a divine figure, things become more uncomfortable.
So Twilight falls back to her safe answer: consulting with Celestia for advice.
Unfortunately, Celestia's answers are not what Twilight expected.
