Changelings aren't the only ones who can have secrets, as Shapedance is about to discover
Every week around the same time, Skywrite the pegasus leaves his little cottage in the woods to “pick up groceries,” and every week around the same time, Petalgrown the pegasus welcomes him home with a few hours of cuddling and his favorite dinner on the table. Of course, not everything here is as it seems. For one thing, there’s the dinner. French fried potatoes? Who’s ever heard of such a thing!? For another thing, there’s the way Sky looks at his hooves sometimes, as if trying to will something else to be there. Also, as a footnote, Petalgrown is one of the hundreds of changelings thrown free of Canterlot during the failed invasion attempt, and has been living off Skywrite’s strange, fiery love ever since.
As time goes on and questions about the strange, loving pegasus start piling up, she grows determined to discover the truth behind the pony she finds herself growing more and more intrigued with. Of course, it could be something even crazier than “love-sucking, shape-changing bug-pony,” but that’s just speculation. After all, there’s no way a pony could ever hide such a strange secret from a creature born of secrets, right? Why, it would take something very unpony-like to pull that off, wouldn’t it?
The Harvest Family farm is on the brink of financial collapse. Can this Lord Barleycorn really deliver on all his promises?
Hollow Shades is a small farming and lumberjacking community, a tiny bubble of Equestria smack in the middle of the Everfree Forest. Things have been hard-going since the lumber mill was closed down by its aristocratic owner, and the town is slowly dying. The fate of the town weighs heavily even on the town's youth, with young filly Corn Crib of the Harvests being intimately aware of the fact things aren't going well for her family and friends. And then, a ray of hope comes into her life when she encounters a most unusual figure on the road nearby; a talking scarecrow, one that claims to be Lord Barleycorn, the King of Autumn, who promises to help her however he can. Can the two of them succeed in breathing life back into Hollow Shades?
This is a lighthearted story that contains lots of OCs and an original setting. The mane six will appear, but not until later chapters.
First time featured was May 23, 2014! I can't believe it! Thank you everyone! =3 And now recommended on TVTropes! Picture was made by my friend Escopeto. He did a fantastic job of representing my story.
Within The Conversion Bureau Universe, Newfoal immigrants face settling new lands within Equestria. Unfortunately, not one of them knows how their new universe actually works.
A direct continuation of '27 Ounces: A Tale of Eight And One Half Ponies', the lives of a family of newfoals from their very first arrival in Equestria is followed. Join Caprice, Alexi, Pumpkin and Buttermilk in their day-to-day lives as they adapt not only to being humans-turned-Equestrian, but struggle to help found a new village in the ever expanding Exponential Lands. This is a story of courage, survival, and the process of bringing a new landscape under proper Equestrian dominion. Starting without weather, shelter, or any understanding, these brave newfoal pioneers face daunting odds.
Knowledge of the previous novel is not needed to enjoy this tale.
TD from No, I am NOT a Brony, GET ME OUTTA EQUESTRIA!!! finds himself in a position where he needs to defend his right to teach Cheerilee's class
TD, the human that first showed up in Equestria in No, I am NOT a Brony, GET ME OUTTA EQUESTRIA!!! is depressed that he's stuck in the world of ponies with no way home, but finds solace in helping Cheerilee teach her class. However, Cheerilee is sick with the flu one week, and that just happens to be the week that a teaching supervisor comes to the small Ponyville classroom. From the very beginning she has doubts that TD is a person fit to teach the future generations of Equestria. Should TD fail to meet her standards, he will not be allowed to teach them anymore.
Sometimes in life there are things you have to do that are hard. Like, way hard. Harder than they should be. Yeah. Aw, shut up. Like you've ever tried to confess your feelings for a stupid apple-bucking farmpony?
The thing is, sometimes in life there are things you have to do that are hard. Like, way hard. Harder than they should be. Harder than bucking storm clouds someone overfilled with lightning seeds. Harder than pulling off a sonic rainboom in front of a cloud of ponies who don’t believe you can do it. Harder than … other hard things. That are hard to do. Yeah.
Shut up.
Like you've ever tried to confess your feelings for a stupid apple-bucking farmpony.
Rainbow Dash narrates her own life. Because you just know she would do that.
At first, Wallflower Blush was excited to visit Equestria with her girlfriend, Sunset Shimmer. Then she saw how different each of them became on the other side of the mirror.
At first, Wallflower Blush was excited to visit Equestria with Sunset Shimmer. Then she saw what her girlfriend became on the other side of the mirror. And what Wallflower didn't.
How could Sunset want to be with a person—or a pony—like her?
Takes place prior to Equestria Girls: Spring Breakdown and Season 9.
Written for, and inspired by, Scampy, whose Wallflower stories are far better than this.
[HiE] A straight man and his marefriend, Scootaloo, have the newest member of their herd over for the night. The only problem? This new member is a stallion.
...Or 'How I Came to Love the Male Genitalia.'
William Harkin and Scootaloo have been dating for nigh on a year now. There's been some rough patches, but all in all neither could be happier. Especially once they'd invited Rumble, one of Scootaloo's old school friends, to join their herd. Being in a polyamorous relationship took a little getting used to for Will, but now he's going to have to sink or swim as Scootaloo is ready to take their relationship with Rumble to the next level. There's only one problem.
Will isn't into stallions.
An alternate universe (non-canon) side story of To Find a Rainbow. Contains: M/M/F human on pony action. Emphasis on the M/M.
Hi, the name's Maurice, and I happened to be unlucky enough to get transported to a world which is inhabited by aliens that suspiciously resemble colorful horses from my world...
Anyway, with the knowledge that I'm gonna be stuck here for either a long time or possibly forever, I'm given no choice but to live and interact amongst the natives.
Now I live with two roommates, both mares; one who's practically a free-spirited party girl who works nights as a DJ, while the other is a cellist who has a more refined, calmer nature...aaand may or may not have ties to the Equestrian mafia...
Will I be able to have a normal--well, 'normal' by this world's definition--life in this strange new world?
Stark has been subjected to some weird things in the course of his life, ever since he donned the iron mantle. Monsters, aliens and intergalactic tv show hosts are just part of the job when you're a hero. But in the peaceful land of Equestria, he will have to face his greatest challenge yet. For he will have to make a choice...and no matter what he chooses, someone is doomed. But what can you do, when you're only a man?
Iron man will once again be based on my favorites versions combined, so expect EMH and more of the cartoon versions than the comics or movies. Same goes for the villain. Gonna be a bit more light hearted that other stories, so expect Tony to be more funny than cynical (though he will be that).
Herman always thought that ponies were an exceedingly friendly bunch, and he figured it was in their nature to be kind and open to all strangers—even to those of different races. But what if he was wrong? What if there was another explanation?
He mentions this fact in his memoirs, but shortly after he sends them to be published he is informed that the Royal Guard wants him for questioning in Canterlot.
Three best friends end up in Equestria but not all of them are ponies. One who isn't a brony, and even borderlines on being a hater, is a griffin. Another who is more calculating and cocky but hates hiding is a changeling. Finally the last of them is a unicorn who's special talent is that he adapts and overcomes. Together these three best friends will fight changelings, ponies, demigods, and the god of chaos himself. Artwork by Sara Germany ([email protected]). (http://saracorgi.deviantart.com/ )

Rarity's quick gift to a distressed man leads to major world consequences.

Then she finds out how Earth's diamond market works.
After finding Discord hiding out in his closet, Twilight Sparkle soon learns the most horrible of truths about herself and the world surrounding her. And then she learns another truth. And another. And another.

Twilight discovers that Spike has come up with a rather unconventional response to her occasional bouts of craziness
If there was one person in all of Equestria who knew Twilight's infamous moments of insanity through and through, it was Spike. In fact, so used to these flashes of madness is he that the young dragon has managed to come up with a handy-dandy response to them, much to Twilight's surprise and slight annoyance.
Short stories about Twilight's and Raegdan's life in the years before the events of The Lunar Guardsman
Twilight Sparkle has a special guardian while under the tutelage of Princess Celestia. A creature that turns intensely violent at the slightest threat against his charge. A creature that will maim and kill without concern if it has to, that will do anything to keep those it loves safe. These are not these stories. These are the stories from the inside. The stories that make a makeshift family work. The small moments. The little secrets. The normal life.
Short stories about Twilight's and Spike's life before the events of the Lunar Guardsman. Maybe a little funny, maybe a little sad, maybe a little sappy, certainly not on any chronological order. Chapters posted whenever I am taken by the mood to write one.
This is a collection of prequel stories to The Lunar Guardsman, an M rated story currently in progress by yours truly.
Many of the chapters are worthy of the Comedy tag, some of the Sad tag, and a couple of the Dark tag.
Starlight and Sunset have the Trixies from the FIM and EQG universes meet up. Naturally, both Trixies have a competition to figure out which one of them is the Greatest and Most Powerful.
After foiling Wallflower Blush's scheme, Sunset decides to spend some downtime with Starlight in the human world. They catch up for a while, but soon discover that they have something unique in common: The Trixie from their universe helped save the day at least once. Grateful for this trait, Starlight decides that both Trixies should meet up, since they're heroes and all.
And then the inevitable happens: Both Trixies meet up with each other and immediately decide to have a competition to figure out which Trixie is the Greatest and Most Powerful.
Things only escalate from there.

A mysterious new enemy has appeared in Ponyville and demands the respect he's due for his evil deeds. If only he could get the fear and quaking he's shooting for.
It was another quiet day in Ponyville when that peace was shattered by the arrival of a new foe.
What does this new enemy want, and to what depths will it stoop to to gain victory over the so-called Elements of Harmony?
The entire series of FiM as a harem comedy, centering around a Rule 63 Twilight Sparkle
Twilight Sparkle was never born. As a mare, anyway. Instead, this story stars the young colt Dusk Shine, personal protoge of Celestia, asocial bookworm, and (unknownst to him) super-cute pretty boy.
When Celestia sends Dusk Shine to Ponyville, all he wants to do is prepare for Nightmare Moon's return. But when five certain mares each develop a massive crush on Dusk, he'll have more on his plate than Twilight ever did. (No clop scenes, I Pinkie Promise)
Hey, author of the story here. You might have noticed that there's a big ugly Cancelled at the bottom of all those chapters. This is only half true. The story is actually continuing under the name of a different author, White Rabbit. In fact, you're probably here to get a little recap for his version of it. It's okay, nobody's judging you. When you're done reading this (and by god, I hope you have a lot of spare time for that), go here for the continuation.
