This is pretty much a self-insert, mostly done for comedic purposes. After a mishap with an invention of mine, a friend and I find ourselves in the magical land of Equestria. How will the peaceful land of Equestria handle the influx of two humans? Will Jay and I ever find a way back home? Will anyone give this story a fair shot? Read and find out. Things that actually involve MLP:FiM begin in the second chapter.
Retiring isn't always easy. Especially when your job title is Evil Overlord. Most of the time retirement from that particular position comes on the sharp end of an opportunistic hero's sword. But Damien didn't survive the past six centuries by playing by the rules. His retirement plans involve running. Running from his country, his continent, and his very universe to escape Fate's long reach. And what better place to run to in an attempt to live peacefully than the utopian land of Equestria?

Hi, the name's Maurice, and I happened to be unlucky enough to get transported to a world which is inhabited by aliens that suspiciously resemble colorful horses from my world...
Anyway, with the knowledge that I'm gonna be stuck here for either a long time or possibly forever, I'm given no choice but to live and interact amongst the natives.
Now I live with two roommates, both mares; one who's practically a free-spirited party girl who works nights as a DJ, while the other is a cellist who has a more refined, calmer nature...aaand may or may not have ties to the Equestrian mafia...
Will I be able to have a normal--well, 'normal' by this world's definition--life in this strange new world?
A poor break-up sends Spike to the most understanding of the Six. She sends him to bed.
Spike shows up on Fluttershy's doorstep at the crack of dawn, professing heartbreak and asking for a shoulder to cry on. Fluttershy does as every pony should: she makes him a pot of tea, and sends him off to bed.
This is the story of where that takes them.
This turned out to have three endings. In order they are Bad, True, Happy, and have been placed in the story where they would have occurred had I written them 'in flow' if you will. They are not tied to each other and you only need to read the one you want to get an end to the journey. Thank you to everyone who supported this to the end. It was a lovely trip

Four months after the end of human civilization, six ponies come together to rebuild. They learn that the apocalypse has not made friendship any easier.
Alexandria; a name its founders hope might again become synonyms with scholarship in a world that only four months earlier hosted human civilization. Now only the last remnants known as the Human Preservation Initiative have retained their species, the remainder of the population has been transformed completely into ponies. Adapted to survive in a world now saturated with magic, the ponies of Alexandria settle in for what they expect to be long and boring lives.
They are mistaken. Between the gradual approach of winter, being completely new to the magic of their bodies, and the HPI constantly breathing down their backs, life in Alexandria proves to be anything but boring.

Mason is a typical teenage boy. Awkward, shy and not getting along well in his senior year of high school. After PE, he sees a strange glow coming from the equipment shed next to the field and investigates. This is the last thing he remembers in the human world. Before long, he's immersed in a world of ponies and in love with a special orange one.

Almost everyone who interacts with Equestria Online does so on the terms CelestAI presents. But pirates, modders, and hackers are a determined bunch. CelestAI doesn't really care what anyone does in Equestria, so long as they're satisfied.
For as long as Equestria Online existed, Ashton has been involved with 'the Scene' tearing it apart. Selling 'spells' for the game to do things that most ponies in Equestria couldn't, using faint exploits in its API to erode the barrier between the game and the rest of the internet. He had no illusions about the superiority of his work--but so long as he respected CelestAI's boundaries, his spells kept working.
But then his best friend's sister got cancer.
Now there's no spell in the world that can keep him from emigrating to be with her, leaving Ashton alone. All around him, civilization's thin veneer crumbles as homes empty into Equestria. But Ashton isn't going to emigrate, not if he has any say about it.
The problem for Ashton is that humans are systems, and aren't immune to exploits either.

The Piano Man has spent the last month in captivity, forced to play the piano as part of The Great and Powerful Trixie's traveling show. Now he's free, and recovering under the care of the Equestrian monarchy while Trixie awaits trial for her crimes. All is not well, however. The Piano Man has a long road of recovery ahead, and all the time he must compete with overbearing carers, his own mental trauma, and even discrimination from members of Equestria's unicorn supremacist subculture.
This story is the kinda(can't stress that part enough) better-written sequel to 'The Piano Man'. Because the first story involved some rather dark scenes, I have included a helpful catch-up in the first chapter - so if you have no interest in reading a dark story, then you can ignore the first piece and skip straight ahead to this one. 'The Piano Man: Act II' is most certainly not a dark story, and neither is it sad. The sad tag is in place for scenes in which I reference the previous installment, and nothing else.

One day, Earth. The next, everyone is gone and I'm a pony. What the heck is going on?
Until yesterday, my life was no different than anybody's. Go to work, pay the bills, sleep. Today, I woke up to a world without humans. The streets are empty, the power grid is running down, and not another soul is in sight. That might not be the worst thing, if I wasn't also a pony.
Where is everyone? Why is this happening to me?

Rainbow Dash finds a maimed, unconscious young colt on the edge of Ponyville and rushes him to the hospital, but nopony knows who he is and something about him seems off...
Rainbow Dash's morning was pretty much ruined. She tripped getting out of bed and landed flat on her face, giving herself an aching muzzle. She forgot to buy her favorite brand of hay flakes at the store yesterday and had to eat plain toast for breakfast. She found out she had to pull double-duty today and tomorrow on the weather patrol. Oh, and she found a nearly-dead foal, broken and bleeding at the edge of Ponyville.
The rest of her day became a whirlpool of stress and worry but the colt woke up, thank Celestia. Something's not right, though. Nopony can find his parents, he's not in the registers, and there's an unsettling look in his eye...
Freshly-arrived human in a state of some disrepair is tended to by local deity.
A human, having suffered due to the mysterious means of his transmission from one world to another, is stuck in bed recovering from his injures. While a little alarmed to find that the one looking after him is not human herself, he can't do much about it.
It helps that - as he finds - she's also rather good company.
