When Andrew wakes up in Equestria, he makes a rather large impact. Well, as large an a impact as a normal 20 something guy falling from about 20000 feet can make. Will he make friends in this strange but oddly familiar world? Or will the absence of his sister drive him closer to the edge? Strange things are happening in Equestria, will Andrew be able survive being at the center of them all?
This is my first story, so constructive criticism is always welcome.

Ponies are like those weird experimental dishes my broodmother sometimes makes: really interesting and probably good for a story, but never the type of thing I’d want to poke, for fear it might take off my hoof. I already learned my lesson the first time something I ate came back to haunt me. Sure, they're flavorful, but I’d like to be a bit more discerning when I’m trying to distinguish “edible” and “by-the-queen-it’s-looking-at-me.”

A dispute between Celestia and Luna leads to Celestia accidentally making contact with humans.
After an argument with Luna, Celestia realizes that she is the only creature in Equestria who cannot sleep in. She enlists Twilight to help, and the two of them come up with a spell that will allow her to spend the night on a different world. Unfortunately, all their research failed to reveal that the world they sought was populated. Now, the Princess must decide whether to continue with contact, or destroy the only non-Equestrian witness to their existence.

Era 1 takes place a thousand years before the happenings of FiM. A powerful relic, capable of manipulating time, is destroyed, releasing chaotic magic all across the land. A group of powerful beings who transcend space and time, the Arch Angels, are called upon to mend the plagues of troubled timelines. One unfortunate Arch Angel, calm and empathetic in nature, shall be sent to Equestria, forced to abandon all that he had, and he will undertake the task of rescuing the land. After his former gang raids his home and attempts to end his and his sister’s life, he emerges victorious and finally looks towards a peaceful future. Fate having it, he instead lands in Equestria. Even with his little knowledge with about his gift, he will stride forward. He will make friends and relationships, some more intimate than others, as he trudges through this slowly sundering world. Two side notes: The main character comes from an Earth where MLP does not exist, so he is not a brony. That and this story is based around knowledge of seasons 1-2.

Luna seeks help from the only pony she thinks can make a difference: Star Swirl the Bearded. He provides a spell, one she can use to change herself into the pony she wants to be.
Unfortunately for her (and the rest of Equestria), things don't go quite as expected.

Readers, both new and old. I welcome you to the first fanfic I posted on this site. It's had a bit of a rough history. Going through many changes and even a complete rewrite that ended up failing. The fact is, you shouldn't try to rewrite your past. This is the story that started it all and now I have realised that it should stay the way it is, a flawed but loved story. This story is largely untouched with only minimal spelling changes to keep it as close to the original as possible.
