I'd heard about the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic from my college roommate who is way too into the show. Disturbingly so, actually, but good gravy I would never watch the darned thing! What am I, five? I've got better things to do with my time than watch a silly little girl's show. However, that didn't stop... something from transporting me into the world of the show, so here I am... in Equestria... trying to get home. This is gonna be interesting.

You and Nurse Redheart have been each other’s special somepony for over eight months now. Currently you both live together in a cozy house just outside of Ponyville. And the two of you are very much in love.
One day, your mare comes down with a rather nasty cold. Now it’s up to you to nurse your beloved nurse back to health. She’s going to need all of your tender love and care. But you are more than happy to tend to her every need. Besides, you just know once she recovers, that you’ll be able to enjoy the wonders of her gentle hooves…and that rather naughty side of hers.
Warning: This story contains two scenes of Explicit Sexual Content between a human and a pony. There are also two mild pee watching scenes, separate from the clop scenes. One is done on the daww side, and the other on more of a naughty/sensual side (You'll have to read to know what I mean). After finishing Living and Dying in Equestria... Well I just can't get Twilight out of my head so we continue! You should read Living and Dying in Equestria first otherwise you may be more then a little confused. The Teen rating represents some lovemaking between Twilight and I. Nothing graphic or discriptive so I'm not sure if it's needed but better safe then sorry eh? I finally figued out how to use the colors. So for Twilight and I's telepathic communication I am Green and she is of course Purple. Just to clear up any confusion. My name is James Clark, and I am a Private Military Contractor. No, not Mercenary. Yes, there is a difference, but that's beside the point.
Ok, where was I? Ah yes, I was just entering my office in Downtown Houston one afternoon to hear a job offer. When I got there, I found a beautiful, robe-wearing woman waiting for me. Now, in this day and age, most people would find that strange. I didn't for two reasons.
1) In this line of work, you run into a few crazies. If I had a dollar for every nut-job I turned away, I could buy a small European country.
2) It was Halloween. Hell, I was on my way to a party dressed in a replica suit of Veteran Ranger Armor from Fallout: New Vegas, complete with gas mask and real riot gear I borrowed from a friend on the SWAT team. I was gonna win the costume contest for sure!
I'm getting off topic, aren't I? Anyways, this weirdo offered me a job without going into much detail. No location, no objective, not even a dollar amount The only thing I got out of her was the promise that I would be saving thousands, if not millions of lives.
Every instinct told me to turn the job down, and yet I still accepted it. Maybe the idea of playing hero again had its appeal.
God, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
When the Elements of Harmony defeated Discord, they did their job too well, and completely undid all of the things Discord directly did...
... Like send a subcontinent from earth into a pocket dimension so he could focus properly on his toys. And now Equestria has appeared on Earth.
Yet, neither side was completely ignorant of the other. On Earth, there was the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and in Equestria there was the ever popular movie serial "The Dark World: Technology is Courage" which was a favorite of colts everywhere as well as the "Pumans".
And now both sides learn through an event that the other is real. Come join us as we watch as both sides learn to work and live together. And as they find out that events on their respective fiction was not as nice as it seemed as we widen the lenses of the view points...

Discord figures out a way to free himself from his prison. Retirement. Now he just needs a heir.
Discord has given up. Defeated so easily? It's time to retire. But he can't just leave Equestria without chaos can he? So he selects a random human to take up his mantle and to create a new reign of chaos.
Can this human manage new powers? Will he go mad or he will he end up as a statue for foals to gawk at? Is there a third option? Not very likely but with this much power he's going to try his best to create chaos and harmony at the same time.
I do promise to try and keep this light hearted and relatively comedic. Oh right I wrote this in response to the 50 000 word pony story contest. I failed horribly but I thought I'd post what I've got up here. I do plan on finishing this and it being around 50 000 words in the end.
A little warning for you in that the prologue is written very differently then the rest of the story. Also it is mostly unnecessary if you want to skip it altogether. The other thing I promise is that the romance is between ponies only and ponies that appear in the show.

Discord makes a deal with Celestia, sending a human to Equestria at the start of season two.

What she doesn't realize is that one of the terms of the deal is that she forgets ever making it. Enter Navarone, a poor human just trying to get by—or at least, to the ponies that's what he looks like. Pulled from his home by an accidental summoning from one Twilight Sparkle, Navarone is thrust into a world of ponies and more violence than he expected from such a peaceful seeming world. These are his adventures—with a few asides from everybody's favorite Lord of Chaos, of course.

Rated for language, along with various sexual-themed exploits. But no sex. Because sex with pastel-colored horses shouldn't be posted on websites that are meant to be browsed by anyone who can click a check box on a dropdown list used by anyone browsing a website. Or at least made to be more secure than that. Because really, who would want to read something like that?

The Piano Man is free, but must now recover from his captivity and adjust to life in Equestria.
The Piano Man has spent the last month in captivity, forced to play the piano as part of The Great and Powerful Trixie's traveling show. Now he's free, and recovering under the care of the Equestrian monarchy while Trixie awaits trial for her crimes. All is not well, however. The Piano Man has a long road of recovery ahead, and all the time he must compete with overbearing carers, his own mental trauma, and even discrimination from members of Equestria's unicorn supremacist subculture.
This story is the kinda(can't stress that part enough) better-written sequel to 'The Piano Man'. Because the first story involved some rather dark scenes, I have included a helpful catch-up in the first chapter - so if you have no interest in reading a dark story, then you can ignore the first piece and skip straight ahead to this one. 'The Piano Man: Act II' is most certainly not a dark story, and neither is it sad. The sad tag is in place for scenes in which I reference the previous installment, and nothing else.
